All bikes are welcome!! You can also come over just to have breakfast or BBQ lunch; check out all the bikes; fellowship; enjoy the music; and support the cause.

The 2008 ride is Saturday, August 16th -- Registration starts at 7:00 a.m. and breakfast will be available then. Take-off will be promptly at 10:00 a.m. from Five Points Shopping Center, Biddeford, Maine. Don't be late!

You can pre-register on-line for $10 at http://www.NormAudie.org/ride.htm and then zip right into the line-up when you arrive on the day of the ride. Pre-registration on the website really streamlines the process and will make your experience much more enjoyable - no lines.... no waiting.... (There are also further details, directions, and a map, on the website.)

The ride will be police motorbike escorted again this year, so once you take off, your feet won't touch the ground again until you land two hours later. You'll be escorted through Saco, Buxton, Gorham, Scarborough, Old Orchard Beach, and Biddeford.

Landing will be about 12:00 noon and the barbecue and music will already be going.

If you've never been on a group bike ride before, we pride ourselves in making the experience fun, safe, organized, and memorable.

Please remember that, in addition to being a great time, this is a fund raising effort to support the scholarship in Normand's name. He was tragically killed on his motorcycle by a drunk driver in 2006. The scholarship will help to maintain his memory. $4000 has already been awarded as outlined on Normand's website. And if you cannot make the ride, or would like to make an additional donation to the scholarship fund, it would be greatly appreciated!
