We are also looking for bikers who…
..may have previous forum moderation experience.
..are mature, clear thinking, fair and consistent.
..will actively participate in the forums.
..are a minimum of 18 years old.
..have pretty good English skills :^)

What does this involve?
Moderating consists of helping other members with problems or questions they may have with a post, blog or their personal board settings, also making sure posts, avatars and signatures follow the Board Rules checking the board at least once a day to check for possible problems would be great. If some thing does need your attention, make use of the moderation functions available to correct it. An email or PM will be sent to you if a member reports any problems.
Moderating also includes deletion of spam plus undesirable posts and reply's. Welcome Bikers requires user email validated registration through image-based verification and a spam bot control field, so automated spam attacks should be kept to a minimum. Moderation privileges usually include the ability to relocate, delete, pin, close or re-open threads and posts.

Why become a moderator?
If you have already moderated a forum you know how rewarding it can be helping others. Two of the main reasons members request to become a moderator is they are looking for a way to help others and contribute to the community. Moderators are usually very active in the forums, and can really influence the community in a positive way. If you have a big ego or bad temper, you more than likely will not make a good moderator and certainly not one were interested in.

If you're interested in becoming a moderator, please pm me with the following..
..any previous forum moderation experience (user names, urls)
..info about yourself. (Who you are, what you do, interests and web site if you have one)
..your city and country.
..specific forum(s) you have in mind. (Preferably a forum that coincides within an area you reside)
..why you'd make a great moderator.

Our destination is only as important as the road we choose to get there.
